JEB DUNNUCK
Score : (89-91)
Not yet bottled, the 2017 Crozes-Hermitage should be a step up over the 2016 and is a classy, pure, lengthy Syrah that has black raspberry and darker berry fruits, notes of peppery herbs, earthy, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It’s going to drink well for upwards of a decade.
WINE ADVOCATE
Score : (89 - 91)
Marked by scents of cracked pepper and ripe cherries, the 2017 Crozes Hermitage is more concentrated and textured than the 2016. Medium to full-bodied, it finishes velvety, with hints of raspberries and licorice.
