Fruits secs et miel frais, bouche charnue et généreuse, déjà bien en place grâce à ses amers structurants, bien dans son appellation.

The 2016 Hermitage Blanc gives up plenty of golden fruits, honeysuckle and that obvious Hermitage minerality to go with medium to full-bodied richness and depth on the palate. It’s classic stuff, with a great finish, and will keep for over a decade, although it’s certainly terrific today.

Boasting extraordinary concentration for this bottling, the 2016 Hermitage Blanc should be capable of aging for up to two decades. Fermented and aged in barrels previously used for Guigal's Condrieu, it's rich and toasty, full-bodied but focused and precise, with honeyed notes of melon and citrus that show terrific persistence on the palate
