Located in the town of Tournon-sur-Rhône, under the watchful eye of the Virgin Marie, I overlook the river that snakes down my feet to make its way through the sunny hill.
Suspended on the side of the hill, my Syrah vine stock will produce a reputed Saint-Joseph well-liked by gourmets.
Mystical plot of the Saint-Joseph Designation, I have been producing a great wine since the monks of the Tournon Hospice discovered the excellence of my soil. Technically composed of a singular and homogenous ground named “Tournon granite” or “horse’s tooth granite”, the feldspathic crystals imprisoned in my rock mark the unique expression of the rare wine that I produce.
I am the wine-producing district of the Vineyard of the E.Guigal Estate Hospice.
